“Don’t go over there, you don’t know if there are strangers around the corner!” I heard a mom exclaim to her son. Within moments of hearing this it struck me how we still have not gotten it right as a culture in how we manufacture fear around the unknown versus the known. I just know from many personal experiences and stories that I have collected that it was/is never the “stranger around the corner” who does the most harm or damage.~Shanta
